Recorders Beyond Borders: U.S. Students perform "Quen a Omagen" and "Malaik

Boston Early Music Festival presents Recorders Beyond Borders. Students from Boston, MA; Brooklyn, NY; Chicago, IL; Montclair, NJ; and Seattle, WA joined to perform "Quen a Omagen" and "Malaika." "Quen a Omagen," a Cantiga de Santa Maria, is a one of a collection of over 400 songs composed during the reign of Alfonso X Castile El Sabio (1221-1284) and often attributed to him.
